At NAAF, we believe the most powerful stories in Native agriculture are the ones lived every day, in the fields, in the classrooms, in the boardrooms, and at the kitchen table. Faces of Native Agriculture is our celebration of those stories. This inaugural edition introduces you to the farmers, ranchers, youth, advocates, and visionaries who are shaping the future of Indian Country, reminding us that behind every acre farmed and every grant awarded is a person who refused to give up on their land, their community, and their people.

From the landmark legacy of Keepseagle v. Vilsack that gave rise to NAAF, to a family overcoming adversity, to a woman on the Hoopa Valley Reservation who turned a community garden into a movement for food sovereignty, these are the faces of Native agriculture. We are proud to share their stories in this very first edition and invite you to take a moment to meet the people who help inspire NAAF’s work and impact.
