Kathy Callahan, a member of the Cherokee Tribe, serves as NAAF’s Chief Operating Officer.
A certified public accountant (CPA), Ms. Callahan started her career in tax accounting and later transitioned to the business realm. She has extensive experience in accounting, manufacturing and business and IT systems.
Prior to her current position with NAAF, Ms. Callahan held various roles for 29 years at Tyson Foods, Inc. She began her career at their manufacturing facility, starting out by learning the logistics of product costing implementation and quickly advancing to deepen her understanding of financial operations and manufacturing processes.
Later, she moved on to the information technology department to lead the integration process between business and IT systems. She has extensive experience and knowledge in the functioning of accounting systems and procedures, integration of other technology-based processes with accounting, and the implementation of software solutions with an emphasis on its impact to financials.
Ms. Callahan has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Arkansas.
