UTTC proposes to use funds for the continued construction of a 4-season greenhouse on campus turning it into a fully operational and professional facility. The greenhouse will be integrated into UTTC’s academic programs and extension/outreach activities. Tribal students attending UTTC, often face challenges meeting basic needs and acquiring the tools needed to succeed. UTTC Land Grant proposes to support the next generation of native agriculture producers, by using funds for monthly student stipends, student equipment, travel opportunities, degree administration and infrastructure development.
