The Aleutian Pribilof Islands Association (APIA) seeks to increase community interest in agricultural pursuits by showcasing local producers and by offering resources and educational opportunities for individuals wishing to enter agriculture endeavors. Additionally, APIA will work to hire a master gardener to manage the St. George Greenhouse, create a community-based co-op, and start a seaweed farm.

The charitable trust was created by the settlement of the landmark Keepseagle v. Vilsack class-action lawsuit. NAAF is the largest philanthropic organization devoted solely to serving the Native American farming and ranching community.
