The Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative (IFAI) Native Youth in Food and Agriculture Leadership Summit has served over 500 Native youth, and with NAAF funding will continue to provide educational opportunities from Indian Country Ag Experts around agricultural business and finance, agricultural law and policy, nutrition and health, and land stewardship.

The charitable trust was created by the settlement of the landmark Keepseagle v. Vilsack class-action lawsuit. NAAF is the largest philanthropic organization devoted solely to serving the Native American farming and ranching community.
