Gabrielle Budder

Associate Communications Officer 

Gabrielle Budder (she/her), Cherokee Nation citizen, serves as an Associate Communications Officer with NAAF. 

“ᏩᎴᎳ ᏓᏆᏙᎠ. ᏔᎵᏆ ᏥᏁᎳ, ᎦᎴᎼᎢ ᏓᎨᎦ. ᏔᎵᏍᎪᎯ ᏔᎵ ᎢᏯᏩᏕᏘᏴᏗ.”  

Gabrielle is from Claremore, Oklahoma but she currently lives in the capital of the Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah, Ok. She came to Tahlequah to study at Northeastern State University and to learn more about her Native history and culture. 

As a first-generation college student, Gabrielle graduated from NSU magna cum laude with a B.A. in Multimedia Studies, a B.A. in English studies and a minor in Cherokee studies. Her lifelong goal is to foster  Indigenous culture within digital media and to help tribal nations express their traditional values using virtual outlets.
