Executive Administrative Assistant – Board of Trustees Liaison
Sarah Hiatt serves as NAAF’s Executive Administrative Assistant – Board of Trustees Liaison.
Prior to joining NAAF. Sarah administered the LL.M. Program in Agricultural & Food Law at the University of Arkansas School of Law. While there, she supported the Indigenous Food & Agriculture Initiative during their formative year, and she helped to organize the first Native Youth in Agriculture Summit. She helped launch the Accelerated J.D. Program for Foreign Trained Lawyers, serving as the program’s Admissions officer, and served as Administrative Advisor to the Journal of Food Law & Policy. In addition, she helped launch the Academy of Food Law & Policy, serving as Executive Director to the association. Prior to the LL.M. Program, Sarah worked in International Education supporting a short-term clinical rotation program for Foreign Trained Doctors. She holds a B.A. in Spanish Language & Literature. Sarah is also co-owner (with her husband) of Designscape, a full service landscape design company located in Fayetteville.
