Stone Child College (SCC) is a Tribal College (TCU) primarily serving the Chippewa Cree Tribe of the Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation in Montana. Founded in 1984, SCC plays a vital role in strengthening local capacity, supporting self-determination, and promoting educational and economic advancement within the community. Building on this legacy,Hands-on Agriculture Training & Community Husbandry (HATCH) Project provides a comprehensive, community-based pathway for youth and adult participants to enter and succeed in agriculture. The HATCH Project seeks to strengthen participant capacity in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and access to capital by linking agricultural production with business training and financial education. This activity directly aligns with NAAF priorities by preparing participants to become credit-ready producers.
